DAY 1.- Country of Origin – Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Tarija

Arrival to the International Airport Viru Viru in Santa Cruz. Connection with flight to Tarija. Transfer to Hotel according to selected category: Del Sol Hotel 3*/ Los Parrales Hotel 5*. City tour during the afternoon, the most important historical monuments and museums are visited: The Casa Dorada, the Museum Paleontologico, the Churches San Juan and San Francisco and other beautiful places around Tarija with wonderful scenery like San Jacinto, San Lorenzo and others.

DAY 2.- Tarija

Breakfast at the Hotel. Oenologistic Tour “Ruta del Vino y Singani” (Wine and Singani Route). Visit The Concepcion Valley, center of the viticulture in Bolivia. The most famous wines and singanis from Tarija are elaborated there. Wine cellars and artisan wine farms are also visited. Lunch at San Vicente, a wine cellar and vineyard where delicious typical food can be tasted.

DAY 3.- Tarija – Tupiza
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Tupiza, the trip takes around 6 hours. Accommodation at Mitru Hotel 3*.

DAY 4.- Tupiza
Breakfast at the Hotel. A full day tour visiting the surroundings of Tupiza. Places of incomparable beauty could be seen in this region like: El Angosto, Entre Ríos, La Torre, La
Poronga, Quebrada Seca, el Cañon del Duende, El Toroyo, Valle de los Machos y el Cañon del Inca. Return to the Hotel for overnight.

DAY 5.- Tupiza – San Pablo de Lípez
Breakfast at the Hotel. Early in the morning departure to San Pablo de Lipez. The tour visits: Quebrada de Palala with spectacular red rocky formations, El Sillar o Valle de la Luna with shapes of peaks and craters that resemble a moon landscape. The town of Nazarenito, a gold producer small village, and Chilcobija, considered the deepest antimony mine of the world. Arrival to San Pablo de Lipez by the afternoon, the town of 250 inhabitants is located at 4260 m.a.s.l. Accommodation at Community Lodging/ Tayka Los Volcanes Hotel.

DAY 6.- San Pablo de Lípez - Quetena

Breakfast. Departure towards Volcano Uturuncu (6008m.) early in the morning. The climbing takes around 4 hours and another 3 to climb down. On the top of the volcano, ancient ruins from old human groups called “gentiles” can be seen. Those groups used to offer rituals to Pachamama, the Earth Goddess, asking for well being. By the end of the afternoon, departure to Quetena. Accommodation at a Community Lodging.

DAY 7.- Quetena – Laguna Verde

Breakfast at the Comunity Lodging. Departure to Laguna Verde early in the morning. The tour visits Kollpa Laguna and Río Amargo, where natural and medicinal baths can be taken. The trip continues through Salar de Chalviry until Laguna Verde is reached, the strange color of this lagoon is due to the high contents of arsenic and magnesium. Accommodation at a Community Lodging.

DAY 8.- Laguna Verde – Ojo de Perdiz
Breakfast at the Comunity Lodging. Departure towards Volcano Licancabur(5868m.) early in the morning. The climbing takes around 4 hours, and another 4 to climb down. At the top of the volcano a big crater can be seen, the world biggest lake of sweet water is located there. There is also an special Inca place, where they used to make rituals for the Pachamama under difficult conditions: low pressure, scarse oxygen, high ultraviolet radiation and very low temperature. By the end of the afternoon, departure to Ojo de Perdiz. The tour goes through a geothermic land called “Sol de Mañana”, with an approximate extension of 1 km2, at 5000m.a.s.l. This place presents an area of intense volcanic activity, with craters of lava and mud in constant boiling. Geysers there are a formidable attraction. Laguna Colorada can be reached 50km from there, it is located at the foot of a black mountain. The lagoon is slightly deep, but it has interior islands of ice and borax. The brilliant red color is due to pigments of algae clorofitas and thin sediments deposited at the bottom on the lagoon. Different kinds of flamingos can be seen. Arrival to Ojo de Perdiz at night. DAY 9.- Ojo de Perdiz – San Pedro de Quemez
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to San Pedro de Quemez early in the morning. The tour goes through Desierto de Siloli, splashed with volcanic lava formations, the famous “stone tree” can be seen there. Towards north, a set of small lagoons can be observed: Laguna Ramaditas, Laguna Honda, Laguna Charcota, Laguna Hedionda and Laguna Cañapa. The trip continues to Salar de Chihuana. Another fantastic attraction is Volcano Ollague. Arrival to San Pedro de Quemez by the end of the afternoon. Accommodation at Community Lodging/ Tayka de Piedra Hotel.

DAY 10.- San Pedro de Quemez – Tawa
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Tawa early in the morning. The tour goes through Salar de Uyuni, the biggest salt plain of the world. It has 14 small islands, the main one is Isla de Pescado (Fish Island), formed by calcareous rocks, rest of corals and marine shells. Arrival to Tawa by the afternoon. DAY 11.- Tawa – Colchane

DAY 12.- Colchane – Potosí

DAY 13.- Potosí – Sucre
Breakfast at the Hotel. Tour to the mines of Cerro Rico during the morning. In the afternoon City Tour. Museums and historical places like The Casa de la Moneda, the Convento de Santa Teresa and others. Lunch on your own. Transfer to Sucre by the night, it takes around 1 hour to get there. DAY 14.- Sucre
