PROGRAMA BOLIVIA MORENA

DAY 1.- Country of Origin – La Paz


Arrival to the International Airport in La Paz.  Transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation at the hotel of your choice: Nayra  Hotel 3*/ Camino Real  Hotel 5*. City tour during the afternoon, the most important historical monuments and museums are visited: The Museum Costumbrista and Museo del Oro, the Basilica of San Francisco, the Metropolitan Cathedral.
Includes: Transfer to the Hotel, tour with admission tickets, guide English/Spanish, and lodging.

DAY 2.- La Paz – Tiwanacu - Copacabana
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tiwanacu to visit the ruines. Lunch in Tiwanacu, Transfer to Copacabana, accommodation at Rosario del Lago Hotel. Dinner at the Hotel.

DAY 3.-  Copacabana – ISLA DEL Sol – La Paz

Breakfast at the hotel.  Visit the Isla del Sol, Pilkokaina, Escalinata Sagrada, Jardin and Fuente del Inca. Return to La Paz.  Accommodation according to selected category:  Nayra Hotel 3*/ Camino Real Hotel 5*.

DAY 4.- La Paz  - Sucre

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Airport to take a flight to Sucre. Accommodation at a Hotel of your choice: Sucre Hostel 3*/ Parador Santa María Real Hotel 5*. City Tour during the afternoon visiting the Recoleta, Museo Etnográfico, the Cathedral, la Casa de la Libertad, la Glorieta and others.
Includes: Breakfast, transfer in-out, airfare to Sucre, City Tour with admission tickets, guide English/Spanish, and lodging.

DAY 5.- Sucre – Tarabuco – Sucre


Breakfast at Hotel. Departure to Tarabuco where one of the most important textile fairs of the country takes place. Return to Sucre by the afternoon, transfer to
Sucre Hostel 3* / Parador Santa María la Real Hotel 5 *.
Includes:  Breakfast, Tour with admission tickets, guide English/Spanish, and lodging.

DAY 6.-Sucre - Potosi


Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Potosi early in the morning, the trip takes around one hour and a half. Accommodation according to selected category: Gran Libertador Hotel 3* / Coloso Hotel 5*.  Tour de minas. (Cerro Rico).  City tour by the afternoon, visit  the most important historical monuments and museums such as the Casa de la Moneda, the Convento de Santa Teresa and others.
 Includes: Breakfast, transfer to Potosi, tours with admission tickets, guide English/Spanish, and lodging.

DAY 7.- Potosi – Tupiza


Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Tupiza, the trip takes around six hours. Accommodation at Mitru Hotel 4*.
Includes: Breakfast, private transportation by vehicle 4x4, lunch box and lodging.

DAY 8.- Tupiza


Breakfast at the Hotel.  A full day tour visiting the surroundings of Tupiza.  Places of incomparable beauty could be seen in this region like: El Angosto, Entre Ríos, La Torre, La
Poronga, Quebrada Seca, el Cañon del Duende, El Toroyo, Valle de los Machos  y el Cañon del Inca. Return to the Hotel for overnight.

DAY 9.- Tupiza – Quetena


Breakfast at the Hotel. Early in the morning departure to Quetena. The tour visits: Quebrada de Palala with spectacular red rocky formations, El Sillar o Valle de la Luna with shapes of peaks and craters that resemble a moon landscape. The town of Nazarenito, a gold producer small village, and Chilcobija, considered the deepest antimony mine of the world. Arrival to Quetena by the afternoon. Accommodation at a Community Lodging.

DAY 10.-  Quetena – Ojo de Perdiz


Breakfast at the Comunity Lodging.  Departure towards Ojo de Perdiz. The tour visits Kollpa Laguna and Río Amargo, where natural and medicinal baths can be taken. The trip continues through Salar de Chalviry until Laguna Verde is reached, the strange color of this lagoon is due to the high contents of arsenic and magnesium. The tour goes through a geothermic land called “Sol de Mañana”, with an approximate extension of 1 km2, at 5000m.a.s.l. This place presents an area of intense volcanic activity, with craters of lava and mud in constant boiling. Geysers there are a formidable attraction. Laguna Colorada can be reached 50km from there; it is located at the foot of a black mountain. The lagoon is slightly deep, but it has interior islands of ice and borax.  The brilliant red color is due to pigments of algae clorofitas and thin sediments deposited at the bottom on the lagoon.  Different kinds of flamingos can be seen. Arrival to Ojo de Perdiz at night. Accommodation at Tayka del Desierto Hotel.

DAY 11.-  Ojo de Perdiz – San Pedro de Quemez


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to San Pedro de Quemez early in the morning. The tour goes through Desierto de Siloli, splashed with volcanic lava formations, the famous “stone tree” can be seen there. Towards north, a set of small lagoons can be observed: Laguna Ramaditas, Laguna Honda,  Laguna Charcota, Laguna Hedionda and Laguna Cañapa. The trip continues to  Salar de Chihuana. Another fantastic attraction is Volcano Ollague. Arrival to San Pedro de Quemez by the end of the afternoon. Accommodation according to selected category: Community lodging/ Tayka de Piedra Hotel.

DAY 12.-  San Pedro de Quemez  –  Uyuni


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Uyuni early in the morning. The tour goes through Salar de Uyuni, the biggest salt plain of the world. The main island is called Isla de Pescado (Fish Island); formed by calcareous rocks, rest of corals and marine shells. Arrival to Uyuni by the afternoon. Accommodation at Magia de Uyuni Hotel 3*.

DAY 13.-    Uyuni   –  La Paz


Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to La Paz, arrival to this city by the afternoon, transportation according to your choice: public bus /private vehicle. Accommodation according to the selected category: Nayra Hotel 3*/ Camino Real Hotel 5*.

DAY 14.-  La Paz – FINAL DESTINATION
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take a flight back to your country.
